What's the point of being a vampire if you don't suck blood?

Why would anyone want to suck blood to begin with, I think that's a more important question.

Maybe some people really like the taste of blood. I dunno.

Who would want to drink human blood? That only makes you a monster to begin with.

What if you ask someone nicely and they say yes?

It's still inhuman. Regular people wouldn't drink each other's blood, right?

Not here, no, there's plenty of people like that.

It's just when they become harmful to other people by drinking their blood that they cross the line.

I've heard a few stories, but nothing definite yet. I'm sure they'd catch the person soon enough though, considering the apparent amount of people with special powers here.

Maybe I'll get a chance to fight one at some point.

I just don't see what the use would be of fighting someone for no reason.
