No no, Freyr is a god! Freyr can't take any shape he wants, that's something Loki does.

True... Freyr is here like everyone else. But no one ever said gods were invincible.

What's the point of being a god if you're not?

You say that like Freyr chose to be a god in the first place.

So you were born that way or something? How are little gods made?

Of course Freyr was born this way.

Gods are born from other gods, though... it might be a little different from humans, though not always different from humans. But Freyr and Freya have a mother and father so it probably wasn't all that different from how humans have children.

Do your parents get any older, or do you all kind of look the same age? Because that's a little freaky.

Freyr hasn't seen his parents in a long time, but most gods stay with an average adult look. If Freyr thinks about it it is kind of funny. Thor looks like a high school student while his children look like middle school students! And then Odin doesn't even look thirty.

Guess even gods don't want to grow up.

Why should we? Being a wizened old man doesn't seem very appealing. There is a physical peak for the body, why go beyond it?

So if you're a god, could you keep someone else from aging too?

Sure, Freyr doesn't see why couldn't do that. Gods have bestowed such things on mortals before, and then Freyr is a great inventor and could easily invent something to stop ageing. There's also rune magic to stop that too.

So why haven't you, I dunno, done that for everyone here? If you're so powerful.

Why should Freyr stop everyone's aging? Aging is normal.

But what if people don't want it?

If people don't want it Freyr supposes they could win his favor, though Freyr is a god of prosperity and fertility, ageing isn't really his thing. Of course Freyr was going to stop Mayura's aging so she could be with him forever, so... of if he felt like it he could help those who wanted it.

So if I find out that I'd age here, would you just help me or what?

It would depend, Freyr likes to be generous but you have to be worth a gift.

And how does one get to be worth it?

Freyr is a fan of valor and heroism as well as art, music and invention. If you can display a trait or something else Freyr likes he may bless you with prosperity.
