Not exactly. They're dead, yet they're alive.. Which just means that even though they already died, they're just still walking around as if that never happened.

That depends on your definition of "dead". What would it be for you?

When you stop living. Except if you're brought back and you're breathing and your heart's beating just like it was when you're alive, then someone's performed some sort of miracle and you're alive again.

I don't think it works that way. Once you die, you're dead. If you somehow get back to life again.. then it can never be the way you were before. Because you're already 'dead'.

Why can't it be the same?

I know if I was in Neverland and that happened, everyone would eventually forget I'd died. It would go right back to the way it had been.

Whatever you want to call it. One of the undead, a vampire, that's usually what they're called in most worlds in fiction.

If you want to give it a name, I've heard 'Shiki' being used before.

I just eat as any person would. But I could suck blood if I didn't think this way.

Why would anyone want to suck blood to begin with, I think that's a more important question.

It's just when they become harmful to other people by drinking their blood that they cross the line.
